Glowy lips, happy face ♡
Hello LaNeige lovers 💕 ,
I am back, and this time with a partnership. I am one of the new Ambassadors of LaNeige I am so excited about this lips care review.
Since a year ago I took Cureacne, I still have dry lips, that sometimes tend to bleed. In my night and morning routine, I’ve integrated a lip balm.
I have two favorites: the Lip Sleeping Mask from LaNeige and the famous Vaseline.
I woke up to this hahaha. Waking up to a notification is always a good thing right? Imagine waking up to an email saying that: I was one of the Ambassadors selected for this campaign since the product is only arriving in France on the 1st of April.
Unboxing time. If there is something I enjoy since I started this blog is receiving PR. I received the one in the Grapefruit taste.

A few days ago, I saw the launch of this product in France, I was so excited. I have been using the Lip Sleeping Mask from Laneige for a while now and we must admit that it’s one of my favorites lip products since you really can see the difference overnight. While they say using twice to 3 times a week, I use it every night. I was really excited because now I can not only take care of my lips at night but also during the day.
So, is it worth it?
First, my first impression was the fact that the gloss smells SOOOOOO good. It smells summer and fruity tropical juices.
Second, I loved the packaging, it reminds me of the lip gloss we used to use when we were kids. I think that was everyone’s first lipstick. You should also know that the way things get packed as a PR package is quite different from what you receive directly from the brand or from Sephora
Last but not least, is the fact that they are SO tasty 😋, and not sticky at all. I can’t wait to try it more to give you my final opinion about it.🦋
Available in four shades and tastes, each product comes in different colors representing the fruit itself squeeze tube paired with a hard rubber slanted applicator. The screw-on cap appears to have a secondary cap at its tip which I spend too long trying to remove, only to realize that it’s a decorative element.
The LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm is a liquid lip balm with shea butter, candelilla wax, and murumuru butter. Once you squeeze the tube it feels soft and cushiony, once the product is out of the tube you can definitely tell it’s buttery.
If you have already tried the Lip Sleeping Mask you can definitely tell that this gloss is a bit thicker and the smell is a bit more important. It also contains a tint compared to the other one. However, I must admit that for me they have the same color once applied on the lips.
In terms of moisture, It does the job, and it’s definitely not as messy as the sleeping mask. I must say that this is performing till now better than any lip balm I’ve ever tried. Since I travel a lot you know that I love transportable makeup and skincare, this looks likes a travel-friendly.
Lastly, it’s definitely a hydrating gloss. What I really loved about it is the fact that you get the shine, but no sticky finish. A little goes a long way, so you are probably keeping it for a while even if you use it every day.
You can also add it to the top of any lipstick to make it glossier, it works just fine and the result is gorgeous.
Swatches and slow-motion:
Do I recommend it or not?
For once, I have no bad thoughts about this. It’s multi-tasks for the price you are paying. You can use it as a gloss, like a balm, or as a glossy top coat for your lipstick.
If you don’t have this, I think it’s time you go buy it! If you live in France, it’s time you wait for the 1st of April to get it from Sephora.
I know that it’s a little pricier than any regular lip balm. But it’s so worth it! It leaves my lips sooooo incredibly soft & it smells delicious.
