Hello guys, Fenty Beauty just launched two new products a foundation and a concealer. I will be reviewing both, and I am starting with the new Bright fix eye brightener. I have been enjoying for a while now the Fenty beauty makeup launched and I was very excited for this one. The Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Eye Brightener is a 3in1 type of product. It will hydrate, brighten, and conceal your under-eye dark circles. Perfect for people who enjoy a no-makeup makeup look.
First Impression on the Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Eye Brightener:
If you have already used a Fenty Beauty product you know it comes in this beautiful yet simple black and white packaging. This new Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Eye Brightener comes in these unique containers. The part where we find the product is in this light pink tube(very classic). The side where you squeeze the product is very intriguing because it almost looks like a lipgloss applicator.
First, I find interesting the fact that the Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Eye Brightener’s formula is resistant to creasing, humidity, and sweat: making it long-lasting. Second I find the marketing and communication about it very funny. They call: Like the best sleep of your life—in a tap. Can your concealer make you look like you had enough sleep, but yet give you a natural look? This is what we are about to find out. The Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Eye brightener promises instant brightness, sheer to buildable coverage, moisturized under-eyes, and a smooth complexion. They also say that it applies well with fingers, brush, or sponge.
It’s time to put the eye brightener to the test. I have shade number 06- Melon. It looks a bit orange at first but then it melted on my skin and the color became brighter. I was very surprised not only because of the color-changing but also because it felt like skincare. It feels like applying a serum on your under-eyes, especially because I used my fingers. I noticed that the Fenty Beauty Bright Fix Eye Brightener smells like an SPF cream. It dries very fast and I have the feeling that it doesn’t “move”: sticks to the skin.
Moving to the promises, I do agree on the brightness effect. You can definitely see how bright my under-eye are compared to the no-makeup one. I think it applies better with the fingers because I also tried with the brush and I think we lose a lot of product. Within few minutes, I started to see a bit of creasing: so I used my Laura Mercier powder and dab a little bit.
Is it worth buying?
I will 100 percent NOT be rebuying this. The first promise is this makeup no-makeup look, yet we do see that I have something on even with a few. The fact that it creases made me look old because once again I want this natural look so having to powder my under-eye bothers me especially if you have wrinkles and fine lines. This is definitely one of the most hydrating concealers on the market, you definitely feel the “care” part of it. However, it’s not the one for me. I think for the price there are other products worth trying and using.
It’s time to say goodbye. I hope you enjoyed this review.
See you soon💕
