Hello, darlings, today we are reviewing together a new collection released but an old product the Cherry Blossom Easy-Bake by Huda Beauty. This collection is a limited edition featuring three of Huda Beauty’s all-time fave products in dreamy blossom-pink shades!
The New Cherry Blossom Easy-Bake is a super micronized powder that promises to create an airbrushed finish, set makeup in place for all-day wear, absorb shine, and mattify while adding subtle luminosity that makes skin look SO gorgeous.
This powder is available in the following shades: Banana Bread, Blondie Kunafa, Pound Cake, Coffee Cake, Cherry Blossom. I have never used a pinky powder before so I am excited to test it together 😍.
Cherry Blossom Easy-Bake – First Impression:
Staring with the packaging, it’s quite imposing: not the traditional round one that I am used to having. Even when it looks heavy it’s actually very lightweight. Easy to open and close as the cap turns like in any normal powder. There is a net sieve that allows just the right amount of powder to come through. Before opening it you need to tap the bottom to allow a sufficient amount to come through. In the back of the packaging, you find some advice on how to use the powder.
The pinky color was quite surprising for me because I have never seen pink for setting powder. The first thing I noticed is the smell. If there is one thing I hate about Huda Beauty’s products is the sent. I also read on Huda Beauty’s website that it leaves a translucent veil of color on your skin and I don’t really agree with that. My first impression was that my concealer was a bit pinkier after the first swipe.
Here is my Cherry Blossom Easy-Bake review:
This was my first time using the Easy-Bake powder, like I always mention in my reviews I only use the Laura Mercier one. The Easy-Bake is amazing to set the under-eyes without emphasizing the wrinkles. It gives an immediate blur and airbrush effect without dryness. What I loved most is that it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, your concealer is still going to look ” natural “.
I don’t like to bake, even if Huda Beauty is known for that. my way of using it is with a Sephora powder brush and I just dab it quickly in the areas I need to look matte. If you are a sticky SPF person but hate the glow this powder works amazingly to neutralize the shine.
The powder is long-lasting, looks like your skin, and feels light even after 6 hours. I love making Tiktoks I think you noticed 😂 and my skin looked AMAZING.
Is the Huda Beauty Baking Powder worth buying?
I really like it, maybe not the pink color but the powder is pretty nice. Used as a setting powder it helps set the under eyes into a creaseless finish and you can sweep it all over your face to set the rest of your makeup.
I do hate the scent, it makes my throat tickle 😂. Like I said before, I am not also a big fan of the imposing packaging, but overall I like the way it works. It melts into the skin, smooths, and blurs the under-eyes wrinkles, I would definitely repurchase this.
It’s time to say goodbye. I hope you enjoyed this review.
See you soon💕
