REVIEW: Glow Recipe Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm

Glow Recipe Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm Discovery ♡

Hello lovers 💕,

This review started as an Instagram post, I ended up writing too much. So here we are in a quick small review of the new baby of the Glow Recipe’s family: Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm

Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm promises to smooth and bright skin from the beginning of your daily work and use the PEG-free papaya sorbet enzyme cleansing cream to easily dissolve makeup, dirt, and oil.
This balsamic to cream can use natural enzymatic agents to effectively soften the papaya, thereby satisfying and gently reshaping the skin, creating the ultimate baby soft canvas for skincare and makeup. The mixture of exfoliating and calming papaya seed oil, papaya enzyme, papaya extract, and antioxidant-packed blueberries can make the skin clean, elastic, and glowing.

So, let us jump in.

My latest review

  • Papaya Enzyme: Smooth, regenerate, and soothe the skin.
  • Papaya seed oil: keep skin moisture.
  • Blueberry extract: protect the skin from environmental stress.

Skin Type:

The Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm is for Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily. This cleansing promises to take away stubborn makeup, dirt, oil, and SPF

Research results:

In a consumer study of 32 subjects, two weeks later:

100% of people agreed that/

  • Their skin has a healthy and glowing glow after use,
  • That it removes long-lasting and stubborn makeup,
  • That the cleansing cream will not make the skin feel peeling or tight.

Do I love it? Or do I hate it?

Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm is inspired by the K-Beauty double cleansing method or 1:1 method, this method focuses on massaging the product into the skin for 1 minute in each cleansing step. This ensures that multiple layers of skincare, makeup, dirt, and grease are thoroughly removed. Using a 1:1 method is the key to get hydration, elasticity, and clean skin.

As you all know I have recently fallen hard for cleansing balms, so I was super excited to see GLOW RECIPE come out with this Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm.

I really love products with papaya extracts since I also use a product like that for my hair. I mean once again the price is HIGH, but I feel like for the amount you get it’s worth it. First, the beautiful glass jar packaging. The packaging is very standard, but I LOVE the bright coral and is a total standout on my vanity.

This formula is divine, almost looks like a sorbet texture. It dissolves all makeup and sunscreen without leaving your skin feeling stripped. Feels like using coconut oil on the skin more than a balm. HOWEVER, when it came to my mascara, a lot of product was still left on my eyes. Takes 2, to 3 tries to get it right.

I LOVE papaya as I said before, my hair product from Garnier smells AMAZING, and since we are used to strong tasty smell in other Glow Recipe products, I expected the same, and I can’t really say it smells like papaya. Overall my skin felt clean, smooth, and hydrated after using this. You still don’t feel dry or oily. It smells light and fruity and applied like a silky dream.

Is it worth buying?

I mean if you bought the Huda Beauty’ balm obviously the Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm is a 100% worth buying. For me it’s WAY better than the Wishful one. However, I believe you still can find better, way cheaper and a bit better especially when it comes to taking out your eye makeup.

It is time to say goodbye. I hope you enjoyed this review.
See you soon
